Objective

The Vaangmay Project aims to promote and preserve the original treasures of Puṣṭimārg, such as granths, ṭīkās, and other significant texts, maintaining their authenticity “As It Is”. This endeavour is dedicated to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, ensuring the ownership and essence remain with Him.

Challenges Addressed

The project acknowledges the challenges posed by limited manpower committed to selfless ethical Puṣṭimārgīya values. It aims to create a sustainable automated system that operates independently, without relying on external support such as donations, favours, extensive human efforts or promotions.

Project Vision

Vaangmay Project is built on the principles of Devī Sampatti and Kṛṣṇasevā. The vision is to aid Puṣṭijīvas in modern times by overcoming limitations related to linguistic barriers.

Goals

  • Promote original texts and teachings of Puṣṭimārg authentically.
  • Address manpower challenges while adhering to selfless ethical values.
  • Build a sustainable model with no dependency on external support or influence.
  • Offer support to modern Puṣṭijīvas in navigating linguistic limitations.
  • Provide a foundational knowledge base to guide the early journey of Puṣṭijīvas.

Implementation

The Vaangmay Project aims to create self-sustaining resources and solutions. Key initiatives include the digitalization of texts and provision of translation services designed to overcome linguistic barriers and provide initial guidance for Puṣṭijīvas.

Additionally, leveraging Artificial Intelligence and AI models, we have developed a sophisticated semi-automated process for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) of the granths. This process involves:

  • Intermediate Software: Tools to manage OCRed content efficiently.
  • AI Models: Advanced models to translate the content into multiple languages.
  • CMS Software: Content Management System for internal verification and validation (QA) of the OCRed content against the original granths, involving a two-stage process and final sign-off by editorial volunteer.

We actively seek feedback from well-versed individuals both within and outside of Puṣṭimārg to ensure the quality and authenticity of our work, preserving the essence of the teachings. The entire process integrates various platforms, including:

  • “vallabh.org”: A web portal for accessing resources and information.
  • “puṣṭi-bot”: An AI-enabled search engine for efficient content retrieval.
  • “granth-kośa”: An underdevelopment project aimed at enabling self-publishing via Amazon.

Conclusion

The Vaangmay Project is dedicated to the service of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, ensuring that the treasures of Puṣṭimārg are preserved and promoted in their original form, providing valuable support to Puṣṭijīvas in modern times without reliance on external influences.
